Jowls are formed when muscles, skin and fat lose their tone and volume. As a result, this  facial tissues hangs over the jawline. Non-surgical jowl lift options are available to lift sagging skin and restore the original contour of the face.

Radiesse for Non-Surgical Jowl Lift

The active ingredient of Radiesse is calcium hydroxlapatite. This  is a natural component of our bones and collagen.  Radiesse is made of tiny particles of this compound, suspended in a gel medium.

Calcium hyroxylapatite forms a scaffold beneath the skin’s surface, which supports the growth of new collagen fibers. It is unique among dermal fillers in being able to correct structural issues as opposed to filling in hollows and wrinkles.

The results of Radiesse injections last about 12-18 months. This is an examples of the patient who had the procedure.

Restylane for Non-Surgical Jowl Lift

Restylane is a dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid. It has a more firm consistency compared to other HA fillers.

Restylane works by adding volume to tissue.  It can also promote collagen regeneration.  When injected into laugh lines (also known as nasolabial folds), it can rejuvenate the appearance of the lower face. This will help address the early development of jowls. The effects of Restylane usually last about 4 months.
