AGING EYES
1. Hollow eyes (also called tear trough): This can be treated with tissue augmentation using Radiesse or autologous fat.
2. Crow's Feet:
Crows' feet are small wrinkles around the eyes, classically starting at the outer corner of the eye. Many people associate crows' feet with age, as they tend to deepen and expand with age, and some people consider crow's feet to be an undesirable trait. A number of products and services can be found for people who want to reduce their crows' feet, although most dermatologists agree that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure in this case, and recommend a number of techniques for preventing the formation of crow's feet in the first place.
Crow's Feet can be treated by:
- Botox
-Crow's feet reduction using surgery for a more lasting solution
- Baggy lower eyelids and excessive skin hooding of upper eyelids: Blepharoplasty
3. Dark circles around the eyes: This is often genetic in origin. For some patients, improvements are derived from the use of Fraxel laser treatment in combination with the use of creams. Consult with Dr. Umar to determine the best solution for you.
